KEEN Shoes I think I Love You

KEEN Shoes. When it comes to footwear, there’s only one brand that fits the bill.

Copywriter, marketer, web designer, and Portland, Oregon native, Sean H Phillips has a passion for adventure, activity, and exploring the great outdoors with KEEN Shoes.

KEEN Shoes. It could have been Nike or Adidas as per usual when it came down to choosing my next walking shoe but as a copywriter and marketer promoting sales, I’m the first to scrutinize new products.

Walking through the Pearl District here in Portland, Oregon I couldn’t help but get sucked into the revolving wheel display of yellow shoes going around in a circle.

It caught my eye.

Like a hamster spinning on a wheel there were those yellow KEEN Shoes going round and round and I was drawn in to the store.

Yellow tennis shoes? Normally, I would never go for anything that isn’t a bit more conservative but hey, this is Portland! People make a point of standing out and looking different..

And, I have to admit it. I wanted to be one of those people: that stood out amongst the sea of bland and neutral sport shoes wearers.

Beyond comfort and durability, I have a particular fondness for the yellow KEEN shoes that I own. The bright color adds a touch of fun and personality to my outfit, making me stand out from the crowd. Whether I’m pairing them with jeans for a casual look or wearing them on a hiking adventure, the yellow KEENs have become a signature part of my style.

As I entered the KEEN store it was apparent that they had all kinds of colors besides Yellow and quite the variety of shoes for all types of activity.

But there were those yellow shoes sticking out like a pimple on my face. It wouldn’t let me go.

Remember the shoe concept that appeared in the late 90’s or early 2000’s where the sole of the shoe was concave shaped and supposed to provide you with additional comfort and support all the while providing you more lift and movement for walking and aerobics?

I think it was either Reebok or somebody like that who came up with the idea and it lasted for a few years and then disappeared..

Well, the KEEN shoe brings that concept back but with a more improved structure so that you’re walking Heel to Toe without getting knee or hip pain.

One of the things I love most about KEEN shoes is their comfort. Whether I’m spending hours on my feet at my computer or embarking on a day-long hike, his KEENs provide exceptional support and cushioning. The brand’s commitment to creating footwear that feels like a second skin has made a significant impact on my overall well-being.

As a copywriter and marketer, I understand the importance of branding and storytelling. KEEN has successfully created a brand identity that resonates with adventure seekers like myself. The company’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility further enhances its appeal.

So, the next time you’re looking for a shoe that can keep up with your active lifestyle, consider giving KEEN a try. You might just find your new favorite pair. And, of course, try out the Yellow.
