Curious happenings in Portland,Oregon

There’s a curious phenomenon going on with small businesses all around Portland and it could be another of issues..they just don’t exist!

Let me clarify..there’s a storefront, theres an office and services are there but they have no online presence,like,anywhere..no websites,no reviews,no testimonials and not even a referring website..to be found anywhere on Google..not even in Social Media..what’s up with that?

Now,I can think there are a number of reasons considering how hard things are in Portland right now for businesses..

There could be copyright infringement issues, fiscal reasons(avoiding State,Federal and Municipal authorities)..fear of lawsuits,etc..

But,from a copywriter’s standpoint and brand developer..this is the OPPOSITE of what a business or brand should be doing..the whole point,as I’ve mentioned in my website is to GET THE WORD OUT!

Outside of putting up posters on telephone poles in the middle of the rain there’s gotta be a better way..

I suggest creating an online presence, this is where the copywriter and brand developer skills come in..if a business truly wants to grow..you need to have first have CLARITY about your business and a clear business or brand mission.

There’s only two ways I see it: keep running things clandestine or expand and promote.

If you’re feeling confused after reading this about what to do then give me a shout..of course, talk to your accountant, your attorney..but in the end,it’s about finding what your biggest pain points and frustrations are about your business..

Let me know if you want to chat..let’s grab a coffee and listen to your UNIQUE story.

What's going on with your business in Portland?
